Why we do this

Over recent years we have gained much experience in working with international partners within the project Partners for Roads in several new European countries, for example Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Hungary and Romania. We have this work done with pleasure.
It was very inspiring to share our experience and knowledge across borders successfully. It is our personal drive.

To our regret, the board of directors of Rijkswaterstaat has decided to close down the project Partners for Roads in the end of 2009. So we have the idea to continue this work. We all feel very involved with the new European countries and we think that we can make a contribution to the further development of the Road Administrations on the field of Institutional Development and Human Resource Management.
